Delhi Blues in Pal Singh final

NEW DELHI, May 4: Sumeet Dogra's all-round performance (45 not out and 2 for 36) helped Delhi Blues beat Chand Khanna by 10 runs to enter the final of the seventh Pal Singh memorial tournament at Khalsa College. In the final on Wednesday, Delhi Blues will take on Khalsa College.

Brief scores: Delhi Blues: 201 for 6 (Randeep Singh 58, Sumeet Dogra 45 not out, Rohit Ralhan 27, radheyshyam Gupta 28, Kuldeep Singh 2 for 29). Chand Khanna: Sandeep Rana 47, Virender Sehwag 39, Mark Ignty 2 for 26, Ajay Verma 2 for 38, Sumit Dogra 2 for 36, Radheyshyam Gupta 2 for 34).

Pushpinder Singh's unbeaten 110 helped R K Puram register an eight-wicket victory over Keshavpuram at President's Estate ground.

Keshavpuram made 223 for the loss of two wickets with Sachin topscoring (72). Mahender was the most successful bowler with two scalps. In reply, RK Puram overhauled their total, making 224 for two.

Brief scores: Keshavpuram: 223 for 2 (Sachin 72, Mahender 2 for 22). R K Puram: 224 for 2 (Pushpinder Singh 110 not out, Bhasker 57 not out, Manish 30).

VikasPuri excelsBR>Madras Cricket Club beat Central Warehousing Corporation by eight wickets in the inaugural Goswami Girdhari Lal memorial tournament at Ramjas sports complex at West Patel Nagar. Vikas Puri was declared the man of the match for his unbeaten 68 for the winners.
