Good response to rally

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, May 6: More than three hundred students from various schools of the city and rural areas took part in the cycle rally, which was flagged off from the Sukhna Lake in the morning today. The rally was a part of the third Giani Zail Singh Adventure Sports Festival.

As a part of the adventure festival, long distance swimming will be organised tomorrow at the Sukhna Lake at 4.30 p.m. More than fifty swimmers, including women are expected to take part.

According to one of the members of the organising committee, all the participants will be given T-shirts.

In the rally today, some of the participating schools were Government School, Karsan, Govt School, Sarangpur, Govt School-18 and Govt School-35.

Col Ajit Singh Judge, president of the Chandigarh Basketball Association flagged off the rally.
