Delhi Blues entered the quarterfinal of Baba Gurbachan Singh memorial tournament beating Azad Market Gymkhana by six wickets.

Atul Wassan clinic

Title for Airlines
Vijay Dahiya's unbeaten 90 and spinners Sonu Sharma (3 for 16) and Subhash Chaudhary (3 for 5) helped Indian Airlines win the All India Public Sector tournament, beating ITI Bangalore by 72 runs in the final at Bangalore, according to reports reaching here.

Brief scores: Indian Airlines: 193 for 8 (Vijay Dahiya 90 not out, Onkar Singh 24, G Raj 3 for 14). ITI: 121 (H Barrington 31, Subhash Chaudhary 3 for 5, Sonu Sharma 3 for 16).

IOA solidarity course
The importance of sports medicine and science to sportspersons, nutrition and sports psychology were some of the topics discussed on the fourth day of the IOC-Solidarity Course in leadership and management held here. The importance of communication was also realised and discussed in detail by the participants who felt that every individual should sharpen his communication skills to get better results.

Zaidi Fencing meet
The Safdar Raza Zaidi memorial state fencing championship will be held in Lucknow later this month. Uttar Pradesh will select its teams for the first sub-junior national boys and girls fencing championship next month on the basis of the particpants' performance during the championship. The two-day state tourney would be played in Lucknow on May 20 and 21.
