7 PAC jawans hurt in blast

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

VARANASI, MAY 8: Seven Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) jawans were injured, some of them seriously, when a recovered bomb exploded in Chetganj police station here today, police said. The bomb, which was kept in the store room of the police station after it was seized from some miscreants a few days ago, exploded due to intense heat, police said. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical.
