Transfer as punishment
Two recent news reports pertaining to transfers of bureaucrats in Maharashtra raise important issues. The first was about the statement of the Maharashtra Chief Minister that transfer is not enough of a punishment for a bureaucrat.

Saying it with degrees
If you have a warm feeling towards a country, give it a temperature higher than 50 degrees. If you have a cool feeling, give it less than 50.
