CHANDIGARH, May 23: Fine half century by Anil Choudhary (55) enabled PGI XI to beat JAL XI by 12 runs in the Nand Lal Memorial cricket tournament played at PGI today.PGI XI won the toss and elected to bat. The team scored 175 runs in the allotted 25 overs. Anil Choudhary (55), Rajinder Singh (20) and Amit Bhardwaj (18) were the run getters for the team. Bhushan Bhardwaj got three wickets for JAL XI.
In reply JAL XI scored 163 runs. Rajesh Chabbra with 63 runs was the main scorer for the team.
Rajeev Dutta and Raman Sharma got three wickets each.
