Staines' murder -- Orissa govt announces Rs 1 lakh reward on Dara

CUTTACK, MAY 26: The state government has announced a reward of rupees one lakh to anyone providing information on the whereabouts of Dara Singh alias Rabindra Kumar Pal, the prime accused in the Manoharpur incident where an Australian missionary, Graham Stewart Staines and his two children were burnt to death on January last.

Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), probing into the incident, had announced a reward of rupees five lakh for information on Dara.

Inspector General of Police (Administration) Bidya Bhusan Mohanty released the photographs of Dara Singh, his two accomplices Dipu Das and Aniruddha Dandapat to the press here on Tuesday while announcing the rewards.

The CBI has also declared cash rewards of rupees one lakh each for providing information on Dipu and Anirudha who belonged to Baliposi village of Mayurbhanj District.

Besides the above, Rs 10,000 has been offered for information on 15 others who were allegedly involved in the incident, the release said.
