PUNE, May 26: Dhanraj Pillay's recall to the National hockey camp for the forthcoming tour to South Africa and Australia later this year could not have been better timed. The piece of good news to the Pillay household coincided with his travel to Mumbai to receive the `Player of the Year' award by the Sahayog Foundation of which former Indian Test cricket captain Ajit Wadekar is a member.
The news also came to Pillay as he revelled to India's cricket team's blistering show in the World Cup against Sri Lanka.
The gifted centre-forward broke into excitement while yelling out to his mother ``your son is back in the Indian team''.
