Fire at KamathipuraMUMBAI: TWO persons died of burn injuries when a fire broke out at a shop in a three-storey building in the Kamathipura area of Central Mumbai on Friday night. According to the police, Laxman Karki (16) died on the spot, while Mohammad Nawab (25), who sustained 99 per cent burn injuries, died in Nair hospital early today, fire brigade and police sources said.

Estate agent shot at after brawl
A 21-year-old estate agent Vikas Patil was seriously injured after he was shot at by two men at Sakinaka on Saturday afternoon. The police suspect it is the fallout of some previous enmity. The incident took place at around 12.45 pm at Satya Nagar adjoining Kurla Pipe Line after the victim got involved in a brawl with the twoidentified as Ramsingh Thakur and Chikna Yusuf. Patil's condition is stable. Police have launched a major manhunt to nab the two accused in whose residence the shooting occurred.
