Capt. D. K. Uppal, managing director of MDK Immigration Consultants, in his opening speech, talked about the firms' achievements in helping prospective immigrants. Later, Uppal told Newsline, that the time taken to acquire a visa usually ranges from six months to two years. The total expenses involved in the procedure is around Rs 3 lakh, including his commission.

Dr N. K. Grover, vice-district governor of Lions International, presided over the function. He said sincerity in every aspect was the secret of success. Grover said there was no work environment in India, especially in government offices. One can turn ambitions into reality only if one's work environment is good, he said.
