First Year admission process starts today
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
PUNE, JUNE 6: The admission process for the first year degree course in arts, commerce and science will begin from Monday. All the degree colleges will carry out the admissions for their respective courses. In case of senior colleges which have attached junior colleges, the seats which fall vacant after accommodating those who passed HSC, will be filled following government directives pertaining to reservations. The coordination and control committee of University of Pune (UoP) will oversee the admission process.Following is the schedule for admission in city colleges:
Sale and receipt of filled forms: June 7 to June 10
Verification of admission forms: June 11 to June 14
Release of first merit list: June 15
Admission of students from first merit list: June 15 to June 19
Submission of list of admitted students to UoP: June 21
Release of second merit list: June 21
Admission of students from second merit list: June 21 to June 23.
Complaints regarding discrepancies in admission procedure can be made to UoP after June 25. The students are required to submit their complaints in prescribed form available in the varsity. Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
