Teachers call meet to oppose GR

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
VADODARA, June 6: A meeting of members of the Vadodara city Secondary Teachers' Association will be held at their office here on Tuesday to protest against the recent government decision, which would render temporary school teachers surplus.

One of the association members said this was the first step to express their dissatisfaction over the decision. Earlier teachers use to take 30 classes of the total 45 classes every week while temporary teachers took care of the remaining. However, with the resolution, each teacher will now have to take 41 classes, which would render temporary teachers surplus.
