GEDA Chairman Marandbhai Arya will inaugurate the meet, while scientist and energy conservation consultant B G Desai will deliver the keynote address. Around 60 consultants from the field of energy conservation are expected to attend the programme.

An award for excellence, the best performance award and valuable contributions award will to given to outstanding achievers who have been instrumental in popularising energy conservation concept and bringing result-oriented success to the Agency's energy conservation programmes.

Successful case studies implemented in the field of energy conservation will be presented on the occasion, besides discussion on issues related to enhancing efficiency levels in industries of the State.

According to information, the programme will also redesign and reformulate strategies to implement GEDA's energy audit scheme.
