Kidnappers remanded
All the seven people arrested in connection with kidnapping female children and forcing them to beg on the streets have been remanded to five days in police custody. According to the Karelibaug police, they will again be presented before the court on Tuesday.

Rioting case
The Panigate police has registered a case of rioting against three people -- Abdul Ibrahimbhai, Mukhtarbhai Abudlbhai and Shabbirbhai Abdulbhai, all residents of Kishanwadi mohalla on Ajwa Road. According to the police, the three were watching TV in their house when complainant Jagdishbhai alias Jago Anandrao Shinde of the same locality passed by their house on Saturday and asked them for the score in on-going the cricket world cup match.

Vehicle stolen
One Vinodbhai Himmatlal Shah, a resident of Sharad Nagar in Tarsali area, has complained to the police that his Hero Honda motorcycle (GJ-6-NN-6274) worth Rs 43,233 was stolen from Shiyabaug main road under Navapura police station on Saturday evening. A case has been registered.

Robbery
Cash and valuables worth over Rs 36,000 were looted by robbers from the house of one Kababhai Rana in Natwarnagar village under Bhaderwah police station last night. According to the district police control room, as many as 10 robbers attacked the residents of the house with stones and sticks while they were sleeping and escaped with the looted goods.
