Telegraph office burgled
The telegraph office opposite Shastri bridge under Fatehgunj police station was burgled last night and Rs 701 in cash and goods worth Rs 150 were stolen from the premises. According to the police, the burglary took place between 4 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. on Monday when the office was locked. The police said the burglars entered the telegraph office by breaking open the lock on the main door of the office. Investigations are on.

Stolen in bus
One Asmitaben Santoshbhai Sawant, a resident of Vitthalesh Apartment in Navapura area, has complained to the police that her mangalsutra weighing around three tolas and valued at Rs 10,000 was stolen from her neck when she was boarding a crowded local bus at the Fajelpur bus stand under Chhani police station on Sunday evening.

Cash missing
Shyambhai Shah, a resident of Sevashram Society on Bahucharaji Road in Karelibaug, has lodged a police complaint saying that her maidservant allegedly stole Rs 27,000 from his house on Sunday.
