Health campaign for children kicks off in Surat city

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
SURAT, June 27: Water Supply Minister Narottambhai Patel kicked off the campaign, aimed at maintaining children's health, launched by the State government in Surat district.

At a function held on Saturday at Utran in the district, District Health Officer Dr V D Shah informed the audience the details of the project under which 4,47,327 children will be subjected to complete health check up. Patel appealed parents to ensure that their wards benefited from the project that will target children going to schools as well as those who don't. According to District Development Officer B N Joshi, the project was expected to completed by August 15.
