Nagpur Gazetteer in Marathi soon

NAGPUR, JULY 11: Minister of State for Education and Cultural Affairs Anil Deshmukh on Friday said that a Marathi version of the Nagpur Gazetteer would be published soon so as to take the history and culture of the city to more and more people.Deshmukh said the Marathi version would be produced within the next six months. The Nagpur Gazetteer has long been short of supply even though the demand for the book has been immense. Published way back in 1906, the book provides detailed information about the city's origin, its history, culture, people, climatic conditions then and the economic scenario.
