Two held for black marketing of cinema tickets

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
Chandigarh, JULY 11: Two persons were arrested here while they were allegedly found selling tickets of a newly-released Hindi movie "Mann" at a Sector 17 cinema hall.

Rakesh Kumar of Sector 25 Janta Colony and Shiv Mohan of Maloya colony were arrested under the Punjab Cinema Act, police said.

Powermen call of f strike
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of "Electricity Parivar" has called off their strike scheduled for Monday. The Association of UT Power Engineers, UT Powermen Union and Electricity Junior Engineers' Association are represented by the JAC.

In a joint press release, the presidents of three unions said the strike was called off on the firm assurance by UT administration of not resorting to punishment without trial.
