Cup through Mandhani's lens
Ajay Jadeja lauded the great pains taken by eminent sports photographer Pradeep Mandhani in bringing out the personalities of cricketers through his camera lens.

While inaugurating the photo exhibition of over 400 colour photographs of the World Cup taken by Mandhani, the Indian vice-captain praised the cameraman bringing out some rare moments of the World Cup, both on and off the field.

Mandhani explained to the viewers the circumstances in which he clicked those rare off-the-field pctures during the World Cup in England last month. There are rare photographs of some Indian players going for a leisure walk on the streets of London, Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram celebrating his birthday with his child, the Austalian cricketers in a jubilant mood after the final, etc.

Gurpreet, Vinayak star
Bright Cricket Club (Delhi) beat Gilford Cricket Club (London) by 40 runs in the former's first match of their tour of England, according to reports reaching here. Gurpreet Singh (91) and Rajeev Vinayak (60) helped Bright score 245 in 50 overs. Prashant Joshi took three wickets for 30 runs as Gilford Club were dismissed for 205 runs in reply.
Brief scores: Bright Club 245: (Gurpreet Singh 91, Rajeev Vinayak 60) bt Gillfort Club 205 (Prashant Joshi 3 for 30).
