Harender, Saurabh shine during Scotland tour Globe Trotters cricket club, comprising under-19 players and a couple of seniors, have returned after a successful 10-day tour of Scotland where they played five matches. Harender Chaudhary top-scored with 180 and took four wickets in the tourists' match against Cirstorphine while skipper Saurabh Shukla was consistent with his batting, scoring 99 (vs Scotland under-19), 69 not out (vs Penrith touring team from Australia), 64 not out (vs Stewart-Melville) and 40 against Cirstorphine.Globe Trotters' spinners Harender Chaudhary, Manohar Singh and Ntin Malhotra impressed the home teams with his accuracy and penetration while medium pacer Samarth bowled well. Wicketkeeper Himanshu Khullar (under-16) received the most promising keeper award. The team was accompanied by former India cricketers Surender Khanna and Rakesh Shukla, as manager and coach, respectively. Prasant Joshi excels Fine knocks by Prasant Joshi (80) and Gurpreet Singh (52) enabled Bright Club (Delhi) prevail over Normandy Club by 32 runs in a limited overs match at Normandy Cricket ground (London), according to reports reaching here. Chris Boon (55) and Ananam Michigen (42) were the main scorers for the losers. Brief scores: Bright Club: 210 for 8 in 50 overs (Prasant Joshi 80, Gurpreet Singh 52, Claven Larsen 3 for 30) bt Normandy Club: 178 all out in 47 overs (Chris Boon 55, Ananam Michigen 42, Sandeep Joshi 3 for 23).
