Kulkarni, Kale bag Pfizer gold medals

PUNE, July 16: Dr Anirudha Kulkarni and Dr Jyoti Kale, students of Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, were awarded the Pfizer gold medal, scroll of honour and memento for outstanding academic achievements in the MBBS final examination of the Pune University. The medal was awarded by Dr K H Sancheti who was the chief guest.Dr Patangrao Kadam, founder chancellor of Bharati Vidyapeeth deemed university gave a cash prize of Rs 2001 to each student. Dr Uttam Bhoite, vice-chancellor presided over the function. Dr A Shalom, representative of Pfizer Limited Mumbai, Dr D S Kulkarni, controller of examination, Dr V N Karandikar, principal and other dignatories were present.
