The senior state team teams will be selected during the championship. The selected players will represent Chandigarh in the Senior National Kho-Kho Championships to be held in Dulia in Maharashtra in the last week of October, according to association secretary Raghbir Sharan.

The sub-junior team will take part in the nationals to be held in Calcutta in the last week of December.

To improve the financial position, the executive committee has decided to bring out a souvenir on the occasion of the state championships. The executive committee also confirmed P S Lamba as the joint secretary.

CACA elections
The Chandigarh Amateur Cycling Association (JS Maini group) has termed the elections of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Rakesh Mohindra as president and secretary, respectively, and other office-bearers as ``illegal and unconstitutional.'' In a press release issued here today, Paramjit Singh said that `this is the handiwork of a few frustrated persons.''

Powerlifting trials
The Chandigarh Powerlifting Association, will hold trials for selection of senior men's team on July 24 at the Weightlifting Coaching Centre in Sector 30 at 11 a.m.

According to CPA secretary H S Bansal, the selected lifters will take part in the Senior National Powerlifting Championship at Bhilai from August 18 to 22.
