Civic school staff raise funds
Teachers of the Municipal Schools in Vadodara on Tuesday resolved to contribute Rs 100 each towards the fund for the family members of jawans who have lost lives fighting in Kargil. There are nearly 1,400 teachers in the Municipal School Board. Around 900 class IV employees have also resolved to donate Rs 50 each.

VMC chips in with contribution
Employees of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation have decided to donate their day's salary for the family members of Indian jawans who have lost their lives fighting in Kargil. A civic spokesman said that the amount would come to around Rs 18 lakhs.
