Punjab cops beat Western Railways

PATIALA, July 23: Punjab Police today registered their first win by defeating Western Railways, Mumbai by a 67-41 margin on the second day of Baldev Singh Brar Memorial All India Basketball Tournament being played here at Police grounds indoor stadium.In other matches PSEB prevailed over Young Cagers Club by 60-45 and Southern Railway beat Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala by 61-42. Oil and Natural Gas Commission defeated Western Railways by 56-52 and DLW, Varanasi defeated Rest of Punjab by 76-61. In the women's section Jalandhar defeated Rest of Punjab 45-23.
