The `First Generation Entrepreneurship Award', in memory of late Vasantrao Vaidya, has been conferred on Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil of Dynalog, and the Decorail Friend of Industry award on M Gururajrao, Regional Joint Director General, Foreign Trade, and Mallikarjun Ravi, Technical officer, Bank of India. Rekha Chitale, of Vishakha Enterprises, has won the Excellent Woman Entrepreneur Award. In the agricultural field, the outstanding achievement award has been conferred on Sopan Kanchan, chairman of the Grape Growers Federation.

The awards will be presented at the Sardar Natu Hall, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, at 5:45 pm, at the hands of Pratap Pawar, president, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture. S P Ranade will speak on `Entrepreneurship in the next millennium.'
