Three reported missing in Surat

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
SURAT, July 26: Three people, two minors and a newly married woman, are reported missing from different areas of the city, cases registered in police stations on Monday said.

In the first case, Jayesh Naran Kalsariya, an eight-year-old and class two student residing at plot no 128, Sitaram Society on Lambe Hanuman Road is missing since Monday morning. The boy's father, Naran approached the Varachha police stating that the boy was wearing a white shirt and black shorts when last seen playing in front of the house. Head constable Sumansinh Natwarsinh of the Varachha police station is investigating further.

Another mentally disturbed girl, Aruna Sukhdev Rajput (14) is missing from Gopitalav area of the city, the Salabatpura police were informed. Sukhdev Rajput, a resident of Akbar Saeed Tekra of Gopitalav area, told the police that the girl had her name tattooed on her right arm and was wearing a brown dress when last seen on Saturday afternoon.

A third case registered in the Kapodara police station said that Varsha Prashant Thakur (18) a newly married woman was missing since July 20. According to a complaint, the woman had come to her parents' house at Kamal Park Society and on July 20, when her father-in-law Chintamani Thakur came over to take her back, she refused to go with him and instead left the house. The woman was wearing a red saree when last seen. Head constable Arvind Rania is investigating further.
