Drag corrupt to court, Bhatia urges citizens

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
PUNE, JULY 27: Senior IAS officer Arun Bhatia on Monday urged advocates to prepare a white paper on independence of judiciary in the country.

Delivering a talk on `The citizens' right to good governance', organised by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) at the ILS Law College, Bhatia said that the executive in the country had become very strong and was the root cause of rampant corruption in the government machinery.

Stating that the executive and the legislature were working hand-in-hand in Indian democracy.
