Babasaheb Ambedkar, Senapati Bapat Marg, Veer Savarkar Road and Dr Annie Besant Road in the city, V N Purav Marg, Mankhurd-Ghatkopar Link Road and Lal Bahadur Shastri Road in the eastern suburbs and S V Road and Link Road in the western suburbs will see active attempts at beautification soon.

At a meeting with Municipal Commissioner K Nalinakshan on Monday, the Rotary Club offered to adopt a school, hospital and garden situated in their districts in the city. The club will beautify and maintain a two km stretch in each district, and has been asked to submit a detailed proposal within a month to Joint Municipal Commissioner Ajoy Mehta.
