Suspended SI, HC reinstated

Chandigarh, July 27: A day after the reinstatement of Deputy Superintendent of Police Subhash Sagar, the UT police today issued reinstatement of two more suspended policemen. Inspector General of Police S.K. Singh today ordered the reinstatement of sub-inspector Balhar Singh and head-constable Yash Pal. They have been reinstated without any prejudice to the inquiries in progress against them.With this, three of the five policemen suspended in the missing files case have been reinstated. Though Deputy Superintendent of Police D. S. Thakur and inspector P. K. Dhawan are still under suspension. Meanwhile, Sagar has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Security).
