The West Zone all-India ranking tournament and the Khar Gymkhana invitation table tennis tournament scheduled to be held here in August have been postponed indefinitely.

Mumbai City, which was to host the West Zone tourney has backed out at the last minute due to paucity of funds, a Maharashtra State Table Tennis Association (MSTTA) official said today.

The West Zone tournament was then offered to the Mumbai Suburban TT Association at the last minute but they rejected the offer due to time factor, the official added.

The West Zone meet was to be held from August 17-21 while the Khar Gymkhana invitation tourney was to be held from August 13-16.

Judo camp

Samarth Vyayam Mandir, Dadar, will organise its 11th Samarth judo camp at Sheth Mangaldas Varma Krida Bhavan, Shivaji Park from August 9-18 between 6.3-7.30 p.m. everyday. Only 125 campers of the age of five and above will be trained. Admissions are available at the venue from August 1 between 6.30-7.30 p.m.
