Girl returns home
Gajana Farheen Aziz (11), a resident of Navsari Bazaar area of the city who was missing since Monday evening, returned home today afternoon, the Chowk Bazaar police said. Abdul Gani Aziz of Navsari Bazaar area told the Chowk Bazaar police that Gajana Farheen was last seen on Monday evening at the house of one Majid, where she worked as a housemaid. The girl, who returned home today afternoon, informed parents that she had gone to a friend's house at Mithi Khali in Limbayat, where she spent the night.

Suicide
Bharat Bhagwandas Jamadar (26), a resident of Tulsi Falia, Begumpura, died on Monday night in the Maskati Hospital of the city, where he had been admitted after consuming poison on Sunday. The police are still clueless about the cause of the extreme step and have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.

Man attacked
Sunil Gulab Marathi, a resident of Sanjaynagar slum in Udhna, approached the police during the early hours of Tuesday, stating that he was intercepted by four unidentified youths who assaulted him with fists and sticks late in the night and fled. Sunil told the police that he was passing the Limbayat Octroi post on foot at around 11 pm when the four persons demanded to know where he was going so late in the night. They then attacked him and fled, the complainant, who sustained injuries on the face and head, said.

Vehicle stolen
A Hero Honda motorcycle (GJ 5 RR 1863) belonging to one Harish Mohan Jagnani is reported missing from the Athwalines area of the city. Jagnani told the police that he had parked his vehicle in the Rajhans Complex parking from where it was stolen during the night hours. The police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and are investigating further.
