Playing on their home ground, the hosts recorded their win with strikes from Aditya Kelshikar and Ajinkya Hange.

The win mattered most for Bishop's as for their opponents -- who already gained a berth in the knock-out's, the loss did not make any difference.

Meanwhile, the knock-out phase of the tournament begins Wednesday at the SSPMS ground, from 8.30 onwards. The finals have been slated for Saturday, August 14.

According to the draw released by SSPMS the organising school, all matches upto the semi-final stage ending in a draw will be resorted to a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner. However, during the finals a 20 minute extra- time period (10 minutes per half), in which the golden goal would be applied, would be played in case the match fails to be decided.

The duration of matches are; Minis (50 minutes of regulation time); Juniors (60 minutes) and seniors (60 minutes) with a five minute break during half-time.
