Subroto Cup from Sept 1
The 38th edition of Subroto Mukerjee Cup football championship will be organised for juniors (15 to 17 years) and sub-juniors (11 to 14 years) from September 1 to 29 at Ambedkar Stadium. The league matches for junior group will be completed by Septermber 12 while quarter-final matches will be played from September 13 to 16 and the semi-finals will be organised on Septermber 19 and 20. The final is slated for September 29. The sub-junior grroup league will be conducted between September 13 and 21, quarter-finals are plannned for September 23 and 24, semi-finals for September 26 and final will be held on September 28. In the junior and sub-junior categries 32 and 12 teams, respectively, have confirmed their participation.Rohit Gupta shines

MC Chowhan was elected council member of International Table Tennis Federation during its 45th World Table Tennis championship at Eindhoven (Netherlands).
