Mahajan clarifies on Pak intrusion

NEW DELHI, AUG 19: Information and Broadcasting Minister Pramod Mahajan on Thursday denied having said that Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee came to know of the Pakistani intrusion in Kargil on April 6.This clarification was given by the office of Mahajan in the wake of Congress spokesman Kapil Sibal reportedly stating earlier in the day that the minister in a television debate, to be telecast early this week, had admitted that the government came to know about the intrusion on April 6.
