NAGPUR: Bowing to public pressure, three deans of the Nagpur university have resigned from their posts and the various committees they were heading. Those who submitted their resignations were faculty of arts dean A K Dey, education faculty dean R S Dagar and science faculty dean T M Karade.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has taken a strong view of the authorities' failure on non-compliance of its order regarding installation of Shaheed Bhagat Singh's statue, lying in a cement depot for over 20 years, and issued contempt notices to the state government and the MCD.
