TN CM gives Rs 10 cr for Kargil

CHENNAI, AUG 22: Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today met Prime Minister A B Vajpayee at Raj Bhavan and handed over a cheque for Rs 10 crore towards the National Defence Fund to help the families of the Kargil martyrs.The amount was collected by the State from various persons under the `Kargil Defence Personnel Relief Fund'.
