Chandigarh, Aug 23: A newborn female baby was reportedly left abandoned here yesterday. The matter was reported to the police by staff of Mother Terassa Home who found the baby from near the Sector 21, said police sources. The infant is apparently five or six days old.
The police have registered a case under Section 317 of the Indian Penal Code.
