The meet, scheduled for 9 p.m. at the Patidar Samaj Community Hall on R.V. Desai Road, is organised by the VHP and the Doctors' Cell of the BJP. About 1,000 doctors and advocates from the city and outskirts are likely to attend the meet. The secretary of the international body of the VHP Praveen Togadiya and the VHP secretary, Gujarat, Dilip Trivedi will speak on ``national security'', Vijay Shah, one of the conveners of the meet told Express Newsline.

Besides BJP Cell's convener Uday Vaidya, C.K. Shah and Mahendra Gupta (both advocates) and Dr Thakore Patel were other conveners of the meet. Parishad sources say the participants will be exhorted to spread the word about ``achievements'' of the Bharatiya Janata Party among their respective streams in particular and the masses in general.
