Cuttack, Aug 24: Five members of a family, including three children, were killed when lightning struck their house at Itamati in Nayagarh district on Sunday night, a police report here said today.
It struck when in the one-room thatched house, which went up in flames. However, another member of the family escaped with serious injuries, the report said.
