Kansal kicks off campaign

CHANDIGARH, Aug 24: Lok Shakti Party candidate for the forthcoming elections Ravi Prakash Kansal today addressed a public meeting in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony. Later he went on to address a public meeting in Bapu Dham Colony.

Speaking in Sector 17 plaza, Kansal said the BJP had done nothing for the welfare of the employees. Later, at a function held in Rain Basera.

Boycott threat
Panchkula:
The Residents' Welfare associations of Panchkula have urged the Chief Minister to intervene in ceratin welfare matters. B.L. Tandon, convenor of the associations and senior vice-president of the House Owners Welfare Association of Sector 4 said that the Chief Minister has been requested to withhold the demolition move and revise he policy.
