Rs 10,000 donated to wards of war widows of Dogra Regiment

CHANDIGARH, Aug 26: As a tribute to martyrs of the Dogra Regiment, the wife of late Lt Gen Kalwant Singh, the first Colonel of the Dogra Regiment, donated a sum of Rs 10,000 to the hostel for wards of war widows of the Dogra Regiment at Jalandhar.A statement issued here today said that the hostel, opened with the aim to provide a proper environment to children of martyrs for their overall development, had been inaugurated by the GOC-in-C, Central Command and the Colonel of the Dogra Regiment, Lt Gen S.S.
