AWWA cards
The Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) cards prepared by mentally and physically handicapped children were released at the Family Welfare Centre of the National Defence Academy here. Laxmi Roy, wife of Col R Roy from NDA, released the cards the sale proceeds of which would be utilised for the welfare of the children.

BJS get-together
The Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana organised a get-together of 165 prospective brides and grooms. The programme stressed the concept was not restricted to weaker sections.
