Two held in dowry death case

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, Sept 2: The police have arrested two persons for involvement in the alleged dowry death of SAS Nagar resident Meenakshi Bansal, a few days ago.

Those arrested are her sister-in-law, Mona Jindal, and the latter's husband, Ashu Jindal. Meenakshi was married in May. The two have been arrested on the complaint of the father of the deceased.

Police said that non-bailable warrants of arrest have been issued for accused Rajiv Singla (Meenakshi's husband), Raj Rani and Satpal Singla (parents-in-law). Efforts are on to trace these accused.
