Bellary LS ballot paper only 8 inches

BELLARY, SEPT 2: The ballot paper for the Bellary Lok Sabha is just eight inches long as there are only three candidates contesting from the constituency.

The ballot paper has K Mahalingappa's name on top along with his symbol a `tractor', next is BJP's Sushma Swaraj with the `lotus' symbol and the third name is that of Congress candidate Sonia Gandhi with the `hand' symbol.

Deputy Commissioner Raj Kamal, who is also the district Election Officer, said the administration is geared up for conducting free and fair polls and added that ballot papers, ballot boxes and other materials have arrived and ballot boxes and ballot papers for Assembly constituencies have already been sent to respective Tehsildars. He said that all election staff have been provided with training and all security arrangements completed, he added.
