Bansal seeks support

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, Sept 3: Congress candidate for Chandigarh LoK Sabha seat Pawan Kumar Bansal, while addressing an election rally in Sector 47 here today, resolved to work for simplifying conversion of lease hold into freehold by regularising the need-based alterations additions made in the CHB-built houses. He also wanted reduction in revised cost of houses in Manimajra Modern Housing Complex.

Besides addressing rallies in Sector 20, 29, Bansal appealed to the people to support him in the elections to get their problems removed. He also participated in the public meeting in Burail village and promised for its overall development. Harmohan Dhawan also addressed a meeting in Bapu Dham Colony in favour of Bansal.

Former MP from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency and vice-president of PPCC Sant Ram Singla today also joined the election campaign of Pawan Bansal. Addressing various meetings in the city, he called upon the voters to support and elect an upright, honest and intellectual man like Bansal.

Meanwhile, the local unit of the National Muslim Welfare Movement, Sweeper Union of Sector 32 Government Medical College, the Chandigarh Kabari Union, I-T Sales Tax Bar Association and many Christian organisations have extended full support to Bansal in the forthcoming election.
