Report on guest house ransacking sent to EC

MUMBAI, SEPT 4: State Chief Electoral Officer Dr D K Sankaran has sent a report to the Election Commission of India about the alleged ransacking of the IDBI guest house at Cuffe Parade in the city by three observers on election duty on the night of September 2, 1999. Asked about the contents of the report he has sent, State Chief Electoral Officer Dr Sankaran said it was "between him and the EC."``The Commission will give the three a hearing before taking any action.
