Asa Ram, who hails from Ahemdabad, travels from place to place along with some of his disciples to deliver discourses.

A large shamiana has been put up in the grounds behind the Lakshmi Temple to accommodate the audience. Several stalls selling spiritual literature have also been put up. Police have restricted access to Sector 20 from the Sector 19-20 dividing road and are deployed in large numbers to prevent any untoward incident. The road between the mosque and the open ground has been sealed off, with no vehicle being allowed to ply on that stretch.
