PDP appeals CEC to ensure free poll in Anantnag, fears rigging by NC men

 
SRINAGAR, SEPT 29: Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today appealed to the Chief Election Commissioner, the state Chief Electoral Officer and other central agencies to take all remedial preventive measures within their jurisdiction to ensure free and fair polls in Anantnag Lok Sabha seat, scheduled to go to the poll on October four.

Ruling National Conference is bent upon to rig the elections and it is the duty of the Election Commission and concerned agencies to ensure free and fair elections in Anantnag', Mufti told election rallies at Kapran, Nawgam and Verinag areas of Anantnag constituency today.

Muft is seeking re-election from Anantnag constituency.
