Chairman-cum-convenor Sunil Dev, while releasing the probables' list, said names of some under-19 players were discussed for the Ranji squad but the selectors felt the juniors should concentrate on their age group tournament in view of the forthcoming World Cup (u-19). ``In case of any outstanding performance, u-19 players can be considered.''

The selection committee meeting was attended by Madan Lal, Sunil Khanna, Sheel Mehra and M S Jaggi. Surender Khanna cold not attend due to a bereavement in the family.

In their opening fixture, Delhi will take on the Services at Harbaksh Stadium from October 24 which will be preceded by a one-day match between the two teams on October 23.
