An on-the-spot painting and essay writing competition will be organised at the Sector 21 City Bird Sanctuary Centre on October 5 at 9 am for students from different schools of the city. And the prize distribution function will be held on October 8 at the DAV College Auditorium. The competition is scheduled to be inaugurated by the UT Chief Forest Conservator, H.S. Sohal.

Entries for students desirous of going to Nepli and Kansal Forest will remain open during the Wildlife Week celebrations, it was stated.
